Wellness Insights Consultations & Supportive Services

  • Please arrive at least five minutes before your visit so that you can settle in and enjoy a cup of tea and let go of your day. Please make sure to eat and hydrate before your visit, and wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing. Please avoid wearing scented lotions or perfumes.

  • We are ‘out of network’ and do not bill insurance, but many of our patients are able to be reimbursed for our services by submitting a “superbill” and invoice with specific insurance coding, to their insurance provider.

    To find out about coverage, call the patient number on the back of your card and ask:

    • Do I have out-of-network coverage for physician services, trigger point injections, or acupuncture?

    • What percentage of the visit is covered?

    • Is there a limit to how many acupuncture or trigger point visits per year?

    • Do I have an out-of-network deductible to meet?

    • What diagnoses are covered?

    • How do I submit super-bills?

    We encourage you to use your flexible spending and health savings account debit cards for our services—these pretax accounts provided by some insurance companies are a great way to offset the cost of your out-of-pocket health care costs.

    Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of your visit at time of service. We regret that we cannot engage with insurance companies for prior authorizations or insurance benefits.

  • To be a part of the Wellness Insights practice, we ask that each integrative medicine patient pay an annual practice administrative fee of $100, billed when you establish your care with the practice. This allows the Wellness Insights team to work directly with patients instead of insurance companies.

  • We accept debit or credit card (including HSA/Flex-spend) at the time of service. We require a debit or credit card on file to hold your appointment.

    Please note that you are responsible for the cost of your visit at time of service. We regret that we cannot engage with insurance companies for prior authorizations or coverage.

  • Our providers holds space in their calendars just for you. You will be charged the full cost of your visit for changes made less than 24 business hours in advance to honor this commitment to your health. We are not open on Saturday & Sunday. Cancellation requests for Monday should be received on Friday prior to the visit start time.

  • The cost of your visit will depend on what services you have at Wellness Insights. At its core, money is an energy exchange, and we honor that exchange of energy.

  • All new patients to Wellness Insights require a new patient visit which includes 60-75 minute with Dr. Katie, lifestyle coaching, herbal + supplement recommendations, lab testing guidance, detailed written plan, and complimentary acupuncture if desired.
